A Sweet Treat for Your Tuesday: French Vanilla Coffee Creamer

imageIt’s Tuesday!! Does anyone else lose track of the days between Christmas and New Years?

Around here Tuesday normally means some sort of cookies, cake or treat.

Well… we currently have an abundance of baked goodies around our home! And on-top of that we have atleast 6 boxes of chocolates…which means… there is no need to add to all the desserts, considering how many we already have… so instead I’m sharing this super simpleΒ  DIY Vanilla Coffee Creamer to sweeten up your morning coffee.

With vacation days between Christmas and New Years, I love to take an extra few minutes to enjoy a good cup of coffee. And I am a huge fan of these DIY coffee creamers!

I made some peppermint chocolate coffee creamer just before Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed it; drinking every last drop! So, its time for some more!! And why not go for classic vanilla?!

This recipe is by far the simplest out of the other DIY coffee creamers I’ve shared… and tastes amazing!

Here’s how you make this French Vanilla Creamer:

Add a bit of whipped cream to top it off your coffee and enjoy!!

Happy Tuesday!!

Christmas at the Farm

imageHome again!

The first half of our Christmas celebrations have passed. So sad!!

Our road trip to visit family began on December 24th, and we arrived back home last night.

The days in-between were packed with family, friends, fun and games, cute little nieces and nephews, lots of sweet treats, 3 turkey dinners and so much more!

There is something so peaceful and quiet about getting out of the city. The open fields and big skys are so beautiful! And despite it being a bit chilly we did manage to fit a walk in to enjoy it πŸ™‚

My sister-in-law’s cute little family just got settled into a new home this past fall, so it was so fun to spend time at their new place, chat and catch up, play with the kids, and make some more memories!

Well, that is just a small snip-it of our time away!Β  I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are flying by!image

Christmas Part 2 with my side of the family starts on the 31st!

We’ll be using these days leading to digest all that good food from our trip:) and get ready for more holiday fun!

Friday Favorites: Winter Photo Shoot (Part 2)

Happy Friday!

Elf on the Shelf: Spouse Edition (Week 2)

imageChristmas count down is at 11 days!!

December is flying by!

This weekend was SO packed between braving the malls, a brunch date with my husband, Christmas festivities with family, family pictures, spending time friends, and so on!

I think the ‘busyness’ around Christmas is partially why I’ve been enjoying this whole elf on the shelf thing πŸ™‚ I like the reminder to take time to do something thoughtful for my husband or have a fun date with my husband. It makes the holidays extra special πŸ™‚

Now for a peak at what my Elf on the Shelf has been up to this week.

Its been fun subtly leaving treats or notes around to see when my husband will notice … he is actually super observant! So I have to be sneaky πŸ™‚

Happy Monday!! Enjoy your week πŸ™‚
